OBJECTIVES

The fund aims at supporting a positive presentation of the City of Prague abroad via film and television, attracting film and television projects with marketing potential and their utilisation for promotion of the City of Prague, and profiling the City of Prague as a film-friendly destination which is aware of the benefits of audiovisual production.

Evaluation

The Administrative Board takes into account, in particular, the benefits for presentation of Prague abroad in terms of the topic and role of Prague in the audiovisual project. The following criteria are essential: the importance of Prague and the way of depicting the city in the work, the number of shooting days at locations in Prague and the value of the motifs/specific sites (in terms of tourism, culture, history, architecture). Of importance is also the scale of distribution outside of the Czech Republic and the marketing potential of the project in terms of the tourism industry.
